Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellowship – Research (Temporary)
IIT Kharagpur Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria for The Post:
Educational Qualification:
Junior Research Fellowship – Research : Qualifications BE/B.Tech. in ME/Aero/Civil with 70% Marks (or 7.5/10 CGPA) in all examinations + valid GATE Qualification. OR related ME/M.Tech. with 70% marks (or 7.5/10 CGPA) in all examinations.
Relevant Experience : The position is funded by a Core Research Grant funded by Science and Engineering Research Board and involves development of high-performance materials by tailoring of microstructure using 3D printing. The project involves a combination of modelling and experimental work. Prior experiments in the relevant field would be definite plus. – Non-linear analysis in finite element software (preferably ABAQUS) – Mechanical/damping characterization – Printing thermoplastics and fiber reinforced thermoplastics using Fused Deposition Modelling.
Age limit of the Candidates:
Upper age limit is 28 years.
Relaxable upto 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped / Visually Handicapped and Female applicant.
Pay Scale for the Post:
The selected candidates Consolidated Compensation Up to Rs.31,000 Per Month (depending upon qualification & experience)
